Maureen as a Record Promoter… |
Dear Maureen, I recall the first time I contacted you about my CD project and how uncertain I was as to how this whole process works. I just wanted to take time out to say thank you for all of your help and expert advise regarding the recording industry business. You manage to put things into perspective and into play for me regarding all aspects of distribution including the 1 Up Sheets. As a result and as you know my CD has been distributed in record stores, not only in the United States but also in Canada. Thank you so much for your help, wisdom, and guidance and for assisting me on my project. ~ Gerard Powell, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Producer, San Diego, California |

Maureen as a Record Promoter… |
I would like to say how much I appreciate Maureen Smith’s hard work in giving me an opportunity to getting my music exposed to the public. She was very instrumental in getting me a contact with Q West Recording Company, which is owned and operated my Quincy Jones. As a matter of fact she arranged for me to meet Quincy Jones personally, in addition to getting me Showcased at the National Association of Record Distributors Conference in San Diego, California. Maureen also got my Cd placed with three different music distributors, in both the United States and Canada, in addition to getting my music played on several radio stations.I’m very very thankful to Maureen for her continued efforts on my behalf, and I hope for her the best of luck in all that she does. ~ Buford Powers, Vocalist/ Recording Artist, San Francisco, California |

Maureen as a Record Promoter… |
“I met Maureen at the 2003 N.A.R.M. Convention, Orlando Florida. Having been involved in all aspects of the recording Industry for 20 plus years, I consider myself somewhat jaded, (sad but true). Much to my delight and surprise, I was approached by one of the most energetic and bubbly personalities in the form of Maureen Smith. Her enthusiasm and straight forwardness in promoting a CD was truly a breath of fresh air.” ~ Alonzo Marrow, National Director of Sales, Eagle Records, Eagle Hock Entertainment Inc., New York |

Maureen as a Record Promoter |
Coming from an all musical family, I have been in music all my life. It wasn’t really untill I picked my chosen instrument that I entered the world of recording. A few years later I was approched by an investor who set up my own company with a team for orginizing tours, promo and radio play. After a few years he decided to go in a different direction and handed the whole thing in my lap. I kept the company and the recordings and added to them over the years till 2006 rolled around and that is when I sought after White Eagle Music Promotions for radio play. Maureen really helped straighten me out on the way the recording industry works today. I am one who would rather spend my time on the music yet here I had to work on making everything right and Maureen and her company really directed me in the right way. If anyone has been on their own for a while, they would do well to listen to Maureen. Gil Piger, Recording Artist, Guitarist |

Maureen as a Mentor for Interns… |
I have recently graduated from Seneca’s Creative Advertising program and have decided to pursue a career in Public Relations. I wanted to begin my training in this field in the music industry. My internship at White Eagle Records has reinforced my decision to be in Public Relations and helped me develop many skills related to the field. While being here I have learned the importance of networking, making, developing and maintaining business relationships. It has given me a hands on look at what goes on in almost every aspect of the music industry, the resources, the hard work and the importance of fast and creative thinking in this constantly changing industry. More specifically I have learned and worked with numerous professional computer software for webdesign, documents, music editing, business communications and the list goes on. Working with Maureen Smith was an inspiration. Her creativity and drive are unlike anybody I have ever known. She works incredibly hard and it never takes a toll on her outlook on life or her cheerful personality. Best of Luck and Thank You! ~ Stepahnie Bartello, Publicist, Media Relations |

Inspirational songs that will make your spirit soar. Uplifting songs that will touch the Inner core of your being. Spiritual educational songs, that will teach students the meaning of life, love and happiness. Can be used to supplement a religion or family life program where students will begin to understand more about who they are and how the universe supports the challenges they face. ~ Gail Ramoska, High School Teacher, Mississauga, Ontario Ontario |

Dear Maureen: You don’t know me, but l know you although I never met you personally. I just finished listening to your CD for the first time and want to congratulate you on it! And I really like that you included words in your CD booklet, so I can read them. Only a person who is on a certain spiritual level can write the way you did it. Your lyrics are not only beautiful and inspirational but they are from your heart. I wish you many more of your dreams come true and may God bless you! ~ Biba Milinkovich |
